I'll start.

Pursuit of Happyness (for like the 3rd time)

I've officially started my Blu-ray collection (exciting times .. got 13 already!) and I just had to buy this and re-watch it.

Such a simple story shown so beautifully. The camera work really was spot on. The director (Italian guy .. can't remember his name) really did an awesome in drawing us in. Will Smith was OUTSTANDING. Could not have given a better performance. The score was great as well .. fit the movie perfectly. I was a little iffy when I heard that Will Smiths real son would be playing his son in this movie as well .. but wow, what a pleasant surprise. He was amazing.

All in all, a very powerful and inspiring movie. Highly recommended if you haven't seen it.

9/10

Your turn. :)

Good topic!

last one i saw was Pirates of the Caribbean; The curse of the Black Pearle. It was on tv and I didn't have anything else to do, love the poc
movies anyways so watched it again. This one and the second one are my favorites. 3rd one was a bit too chaotic for me. Loved Johnny Depp
most of all, he's awesome as captain Jack Sparrow! He's mainly the reason i like these movies.

would rate it about 7/10

^ I saw John Tucker Must Die on TV...it was ok  Agree with Rahul about Pursuit of Happyness!

I saw Richard Eyre's "The Other Man" at the Toronto Film Festival and expected more after a great "Notes on a Scandal". It was stupid...and boring! 5/10

Around the same time I saw Religulous which was hilarious. 8/10

I saw John Tucker Must Die ..not all of it though, can't say I liked it too much, couldn't really watch it properly since I was doing something side by side.. but yeah, I got the vibe that I shouldn't bother watching it once again from start to finish.

And I've been meaning to watch Get Smart. I haven't heard great things about the movie but I'm a BIG Steve Carell fan .. whatever he does is funny, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.. bits of it if not all, simple because of Carell.. definitely will watch it soon.

Heat

I had been DYING to re-watch this ever since I saw Righteous Kill .. that was just.. ugh. I had to re-witness the true Deniro/Pacino pairing once again. Anyway, DEFINITELY one of the best movies I've seen... and definitely has the strongest character development I've seen in a long time. Michael Mann is an absolute GENIUS. I'm a big fan of his (how can you not be one? Heat..The Insider..Ali.. Collateral)

I'd probably rate this movie as one of the best, if not THE best crime drama's I have ever seen. There are just sooo many scene to point out. Acting is top-notch .. everybody in the cast delivers.

I seriously don't think there is anything wrong with this movie from any angle. Movie is more than 10 years old and it still seems like it was made yesterday for some reason .. definitely stands the test of time.. true sign of a great movie.

I rarely, if ever, would give a movie a perfect score but for this I don't even have to think twice.

Get Smart

Really bad .. I was pretty sure I was gonna like it because of Carell .. but wow, nothing could save this. Couldn't finish it so I won't bother giving a rating.

You Don't Mess With The Zohan

What is wrong with me? What type of movies am I watching? Well, my friends been after my life to watch this movie since it was so "hilarious" in his eyes, after a long time I decided to give it a shot. Wow, truly horrible. One of Sandler's worst .. definitely. Again, couldn't finish it so I won't bother giving a rating.

^ Lol .. two of my friends LOVE that movie .. it's seriously amazing how anyone can like it, let alone recommend it to people. I have to re-evaluate my friends.

Last movie I saw was Kung-Fu Hustle. Entertaining flick .. I LOVE it .. watching it for the second time .. enjoyed it even more in HD. Definitely gonna be one disc I'm gonna wear out by watching again and again..

8/10

Chicken Little:

It was a cute movie. ^_^ It took me a while to get used to Zach Braff's voice as Chicken Little.. as much as I love Zach Braff. I just kept thinking of his character on Scrubs tho, lol. Overall, nothing great but I'm a sucker for animated movies ... and movies with sci-fi/alien themes so yeah... hehe.. it was good but not great. :)

SDM - 3.5 / 5

Good movie but i felt it's kinda overrated. i liked The Wrestler more and i believe other oscar nominees like The eader, MILK are better than this.
__

Rendition - 2.5 / 5

Not really moving or touching as it suppose to be though overall not bad. worth watch once.

__

Pans labyrinth - 4.5 / 5

watched it again today.. :P CLASSIC movie ! this is truly great cinema. everyone should watch it
