I think i already opened this up for discussion in another topic, but i think it deserved its own. lol :)

What is the difference between love and being IN love?

Can you be IN LOVE with someone without them being IN love with you?

That's a hard question. Something like this maybe?

"ocean versus being in ocean

people think about ocean and dream about ocean
and eventually never may swim or dive INTO ocean"

haha oh geez im not really sure what i was getting at here anymore...

theres definitely a connotation difference.... love could be arguably platonic, but being IN love is always romantic.

a friend of mine was trying to tell me the other day that if its not reciprocated its not love, but i dont believe that...

I've always wondered what the difference between loving someone and being IN love with someone. Sounds the same to me.

loving someone is just caring about them alot, and being really close to them..it can be your family, your friends..

while being in love is that deeper connection, with the person you think you can spend the rest of your life with..

I hate the term "In Love"

You can't be in and "out" of Love.

Love is love. And it doesnt "finish". You cannot "run out of love".

it reminds me of PRIncess dIARIES.. lol..rofl!

Well i cannot if i confront about it to the person..but i can if i keep it within myself..

If ure in love with some one.. and you tell them.. and they reject u .. you 'd cry for a day or two or even months..and get over them..because of ego .. "WHEN HE DOESNT LIKE ME..Y SHUD I LIKE HIM"

If u dont tell the person about it..and secretly be in love with them..it is ETERNAL! <3
